In the 1980s, following their purchase by Dunhill, Montblanc began producing pens and pencils for Dunhill. These were mechanically Montblanc but styled by Dunhill with the distinctive black lacquer inlay on the clip.
This fountain pen is based on the Montblanc Noblesse and has the Noblesse section and nib. But it is a distinctive design for Dunhill, which they call “Gemline”. The pen has rectangular barrel and cap with rounded corners with thick gold plating in a barleycorn pattern. The pen was designed for use with cartridges or converter
